St. J. Jazz Triobrings their blend of swing and jazz standards to the RiverGlen Residence in Littleton, NH on Sunday, April 24 at 3:00 pm.  Yes, our music is particularly meaningful for many or the residents of RiverGlen, but good jazz can be appreciated by everyone.

Swinging Holiday Concert - December 11

Swing North Big Band headlines St. Johnsbury's annual ​Swingin' Holiday Concert​ hosted by WSTJ Radio and VT Broadcast Associates.  St. Johnsbury Academy Jazz Band will open the program.  Join us from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the St. Johnsbury School Auditorium for this traditional swinging kick-off to the holiday season.

Maple Leaf Seven played Saturday evening  on the waterfront and St. J. Jazz Trio played Saturday morning at the Newport Farmers' Market.

St. J. Jazz Quintet joins forces with Northeast Kingdom Youth Services to raise funds to support programs for families and youth throughout the community.  With particular emphasis on providing shelter for homeless youth.  Enjoy a evening of great music - along with food and auction - while supporting an important mission.

Danville Town Band and community choirs present the annual Harvest Concert.  Music by Holst and Gershin along with some fantastic Halloween sounds.  Community Pot-luck Dinner follows the concert.  5:00 - 6:30 pm

"Senior" Prom at St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab - March 25

St. J. Jazz Trio join with students from St. Johnsbury Academy National Honor Society to provide a Prom-like event for the senior residents at St. Johnsbury Health & Rehab.  Our jazz standards and classic swing not only provides great dance music, but also taps into memories for many people who grew up in a time before rock & roll.  Visitors and guest are welcome. 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

Chris Smith joins the band as our new principal vocalist.  Chris brings us back to our routes with a Sinatra sound but a youthful energy and great musicianship.  If you remember the band with Don Mullally, you'll love it with Chris on vocals.  Hear his debut performance at the Swingin' Holiday Concert on Friday, December 8.

Swinging Epiphany Celebrations

Swing North Big Band celebrates the holiday season with a Swinging Epiphany Celebration​.  Originally conceived for 2012 the  program features the Christmas story in Scripture interpreted through jazz carols and swing standards to create a moving and spirit filled celebration of the Good News coming into the world. Three performances are confirmed for January 2016.  Please join us for this exciting holiday tradition.

Saturday, August 8

St. J. Jazz Trioperforms at 12:00 noon in the Gardiner Park Bandstand.  Enjoy lunch and shop the Newport Farmers' Market to the strains of live jazz.

Maple Leaf Seven performs at 6:15 pm in the Waterfront Gazebo.  Traditional jazz and swing for an evening by the lake!  

Newport music educator, Peter Storrings fronts both ensembles on Saturday.

Community Fair in Irasburg, VT

Maple Leaf Seven makes their annual appearance at the Irasburg Church Fair to accompany the Chicken BBQ from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  The Fair runs all day with craft sale, auction and entertainment.  The Grand Street Parade steps off at 7:00 pm, immediately following our performance.  See you at the Fair!
